Call it a hill station or a cantonment town, Ranikhet is one such place which, despite having a regular military interference, is a full-fledged tourist destination. It is situated in the Almora district of the state of Uttarakhand. Ranikhet tour Packages are best enjoyed between the months of March and October as the summer remains moderately cool here. Mankameshwar Temple Ranikhet
Located right opposite to the Shawl Factory and Gurudwara, Mankameshwar Temple is a famous attraction of Ranikhet. The temple was built by Kumaon Regiment of the Indian Army in 1978. Inside the shrine, one can see the idols of Radha-Krishna, Ma Kalika, and Lord Shiva.
Jhula Devi Temple Ranikhet
One of the main attractions of Ranikhet, Jhula Devi temple is an 8th-century temple, located in Chaubatia Gardens and at a distance of 7 km. from the city center. Situated in Kumaon Himalayan range of Uttrakhand, Jhula Devi temple is highly esteemed for devotees from around the world. The presiding deity of the temple, Lord Durga, sits on a wooden swing (Jhula), thus, it was called as ‘Jhula Devi Temple’. According to the locals, the main deity of the temple, Goddess Durga, protects them from the wild animals. People even say that after many years of its formation, the goddess continues to shower its blessings. Despite being a forest area filled with animals like leopards and tigers, the area remains accessible for the locals. The present temple complex, built in 1935, covers a vast territory and is known in the country for the countless number of the bells, which are the testimony to the divine and the healing powers of "Maa Jhula Devi". Amidst serenity and tranquillity, the Jhula Devi temple invites many pilgrims and adventurers to have a different experience altogether.
Chaubatia Garden - Apple Garden
Chaubatia is located about 11kms from Ranikhet district of Uttrakhand. The place is famous for its number of orchards. Government Fruit Research center can also be visited here. The main attraction of the place is the viewpoint to snow-covered Himalayan ranges.
Chaubatia Orchard is located a mere 11 km away from the city of Ranikhet at an altitude of 1800 pts above sea level. Chaubatia is also famous for its fruit gardens run by the Government Fruit Research Centre. Amongst these are apple orchards and a botanical garden. Ranikhet is a hill station and cantonment town in Almora district in the Indian state of Syalikhet is located in the amidst green forest and apple orchards situated at a distance of 7 kilometers (4 mi) from the town of Ranikhet near Chaubatia.
At a distance of 4.5 km from Ranikhet Bus Stand, The Haidakhan Temple is situated in Haidakhan Baba Ashram at Chiliyanuala near Ranikhet. This temple is made by Haidakhan who is believed to be the incarnation of Lord Shiva to whom this temple is dedicated and is one of the best places in Ranikhet to visit. This temple proudly displays a tall statue of Lord Hanuman and Lord Shiva.
Haidakhan Babaji, simply called Babaji or Bhole Baba, was a teacher who appeared near the village of Haidakhan in Nainital district and taught publicly from 1970 to 1984. His followers maintain that Haidakhan Babaji is a Mahavatar, a human manifestation of God. He left his mortal remains in 1984, at an early age.
Sri Haidakhan Wale Baba established this beautiful Ashram between 1970 and 1984 and many new buildings were erected in recent years. There are also 5 guest houses, the main temple, the Italian temple and Sri Babaji's Kutir and the Sri Baba Research Hospital.
Navaratri is celebrated with great enthusiasm here with yagnas on all the 9 days. Satsang of bhajans happen every evening during the Aarti and people start dancing on their own. Many devotees from abroad visit this temple to have their marriage in Indian tradition. One can meditate in the peaceful surroundings.
Located quite near to the Zaroori Bazaar in Ranikhet, Sadar Bazaar is usually flocked by the locals. This market is where people can find food and household items for everyday use. From fruits to packaged food, you'll find here everything.
Cantonment Aashiyana Park Ranikhet
Aashiyana Park is a perfect place to be for people of all age group. People of varied interest can suit themselves here as the park features multiple attractions like the herbal park, Children Park, colorful fountains, and viewpoint, which offers a fantastic view of the neighboring mountains.

Golf Course Ranikhet
The Beautiful cantonment town of Ranikhet is located in Almora District of Almora, in the state of Uttarakhand at an elevation of 1,892 meters above sea level. Ranikhet, literally meaning queens' Land is a place related to the legends of Himalayas and gets its name from a local legend Rani Padmini.
According to historical accounts, the Rani Padmini of Kumaon was enchanted by this Beautifull hill paradise. King Sudhardev obliged her, by building a palace here for the queen and named the place Ranikhet (the queen's field).
Ranikhet Golf Course is one of the highest golf courses in Asia. Ranikhet Golf Course is known as Golf ground by locals, located at a distance of 5 KM from main Ranikhet town. Ranikhet Golf Course is a 9-hole course making it one of the prime attractions of Ranikhet for tourists.
The green meadow of the golf course at such high altitude is breathtaking. The golf club provides membership plans for outsiders as well.
Kalika Temple Ranikhet
Upat Kalika temple is situated just 5 km away from Ranikhet. It is famous for the panoramic view of surrounding snow-capped Himalayan peaks. Here one can enjoy a game of golf at the Army Golf Course. Kalika that draws its name from the famous Kali Temple that is located within the town is about 1 Km from Upat.
Binsar Mahadev Mandir
At a distance of 18 km from Ranikhet, Binsar Mahadev Mandir is an ancient Hindu temple situated at Bisaona near Ranikhet in Uttarakhand. The temple is surrounded by thick deodar forests and lies at an altitude of 2480 m. This is among the most visited temples in Uttarakhand.
The Binsar Mahadev Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva worshipped here as Bindeshwar. The temple was built in 10th century by King Pithu in memory of his father Bindu, hence this temple is also known as Bindeshwar temple. The temple also houses the idols of Lord Ganesha, Goddess Gauri, and Goddess Mahisasuramardini. The idol of Mahisasuramardini is engraved with texts in Nagarilipi which dates back to as early as the 9th century.
The temple is known for its fine architecture. It is believed that Binsar Mahadev temple was built in a single day. The surroundings of the temple offer beautiful views of freshwater springs and cedar forests. It is a unique place for meditation and picnic. The temple also has an ashram nearby, dedicated to Binsar Mahadev.
A large number of devotees came here on the occasion of Baikunth Chaturdashi in the month of June. It is said that devotees, especially women, pray all night with lamps in their hands on this day for the Lord's blessings. Binsar Mahadev is famous for its Archeological significance.

Ram Mandir, Ranikhet
Ram Mandir is located near Jhula Devi temple in Ranikhet. The temple is situated at a height of 5958 feet above the watermark. The temple is open from 7 am in the morning till 7 pm in the evening.
A Rama Mandir dedicated to Lord Rama resides atop the hill near the Jhula Devi temple. A small flight of the stairs goes to the hilltop where the temple is situated. This temple also has a monastery where students are taught ancient Vedas along with Vedic and modern mathematics in direction of Saint Shri Mouni Maharaj. The devotees visiting Jhula Devi Temple usually visit the Rama Temple.
